Yeah your tank can definitely handle those fish. What kind of filter are you running?

Could I also have an additional school of hatchet fish? What is another good surface fish if I can get another school in my tank? Or would that put me over?

I would go slow. All these fish will seem very few in a 75g now, but remember the angelfish will attain 6 inches length and 8 inches height in fin span, and you might want some substrate fish (the sole pleco could use some company such as a group of corys perhaps?).

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If youíre going to take it under your wing then youíre responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

Yes of course I always take it slow. I just added 6 and that's the most I ever added at one time ever. My pleco only comes out at night I hardly ever see him ='( and he is so pretty to. But I think he is happy he cleans up any extra food left over and I drop a disk in for him every once in awhile. I started a new thread regarding what I should stock and how much room I have left.
