Mine is almost always up to date... so far. But here are a few shots that I just uploaded anyway.
Pic one, tank as of yesterday I think, maybe Sunday.
Pic two, Oscar posing for the camera, he seems to love the camera as he is always bombing into the photo, this time he got it all to himself... I think he knew it too. "Look at my long flowing fins and weep from envy", for some reason I imagine him having an Arnold Schwarzenegger voice. (yah, give me the odd anthropomorphic moment
Pic three, one of the dozen barbs... they don't like the camera and, particularly because it is a cell phone cam, it makes it VERY hard to take pictures of moving fish in the tank. I should opt for short videos I guess.
Pic four is Scrappy and one of his 8 buddies, scrappy due to the damaged dorsal. These guys were added Saturday and seem to be figuring things out OK. I do keep thinking that they came from a river (stream?) in Peru last week so they must really be out of sorts. They've coloured up a bit and are looking healthy and have figured out that pellets on the bottom must be food. They've almost stopped rooting for bugs and worms in the sand as they are coming up empty. I'd love to get some little wrigglies in there for them... maybe I can hide some pellets with the tweezers for them to find. Sadly, the tank is too full for me to even put my arm in without overflowing it right now in an effort to control the duckweed coverage areas.
