Exclamation Plants are Great!!! Please read.

Well, yesterday I happened to stop buy a LFS and they had two Water Wisteria plants on sale for a dollar a piece, so I got some!(: So I guess I'm just going to try some and if it dies, it's no big deal! I am going to try to order some floating plants from Aquatic Jungles in the near future though! I would also like to add that people said that African Cichlids and plants do not mix, but I did it and now my tank is nearly completely planted!! Also, my fish are more calm, they are healthier, and my water parameters are better than I could ever dream of them being; all because of a few plants!! My tank is about as maintance free as it can get!!(:

They do like to dig and rearrange mine are redoing my tank as I type but they have yet to mess with any of my plants just the rocks and the sand.

When my tank was all artificial, my fish seemed to dig the plants up and rearrange them often, but now with a Planted aquarium, they don't seem to dig at the plants, just the rocks. Also, my fish spawn much more frequently and more fry survive!
