The Red Tiger Lotus is pretty darn impressive. I ordered one with my very first plant order in January. It melted and I haven't seen it since. Shucks.

No it isn't rare. However, they don't ship well and my leaves melted. It probably would have grown back, but I believe I disturbed the gravel around it when I vacuumed. Might have even sucked up the roots. I've come a long way since then and I now know much more about plants. Perhaps I'll try it again with my next plant order

www.aquariumplants.com might ship outside of the U.S., but I'm not sure. Ask your uncle where he got his. They'll probably still carry it in stock.
