No it isn't rare. However, they don't ship well and my leaves melted. It probably would have grown back, but I believe I disturbed the gravel around it when I vacuumed. Might have even sucked up the roots. I've come a long way since then and I now know much more about plants. Perhaps I'll try it again with my next plant order ;-)
