So I was recently trying to find some pictures of freshwater tropical "aquarium" fish but to no avail.. does any one know of some good sites where I can find pictures of fish in their natural habitat?
Byron has posted some great videos of fish in their natural habitats. If you do an advanced search on our forum you should be able to find them. I'll go see if I can find them now...
well for pictures of their habitat just google where they come from. Lots of community fish originate from the Amazon river. And african cichlids normally come from the 3 lakes. Victoria, Tanganyika, and Malawi. Googling the lake and river names will probably get better results. Its the round about method. "aquatic life lake malawi" "diving lake malawi" "photography lake malawi" should bring up good examples of wild cichlids. Just be aware that things like the amazon river have very very low visibility in the water, so underwater pics of fish are difficult to find.
LOL that was amazing! thanks for showing me that and thanks to byron for posting that! seriously awesome!!
