If you read the profile of the zebra danio, you will note it says not to keep them with slow sedate fish such as gourami. The danio are active swimmers and may stress out gourami which are slow cruisers, and may nip fins. Not a good match in a 20g.

The cherry barbs (6+) are fine with honey gourami. And the corys (5-6). And one small pleco, but I would wait until last just in case. When you have the others you may not want more, corys can be quite entertaining on the substrate.

The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. [unknown source]

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
