Hey everyone, my ph is about a 7.6.......yeahhh a little high. I had a perfect 7 powder, but the label said not for aquariums with live plants. How do you adjust it with live plants in your aquarium? Thanks

I've heard driftwood will lower it. The powders are definetly bad because the fast change can shock fish. Generally, experts on the forum have suggested not to mess with PH at all unless you absolutely have to. Some fish can adapt and it is better to keep water conditions stable.

I would avoid messing with your pH, really. 7.6 isn't too high to deal with and, as you've noted, driftwood will lower it over time.

Look into livebearers too, they like a slightly basic water.
