I still haven't added plants, and don't plan to add plants until I have seen some cycling results.

I added some substrate from a cycled tank, and saw some nitrites that evening, but since then nitrites have dropped back to 0, and I haven't seen the ammonia level drop at all below 2ppm.

The heater in my tank is set to 26 Celcius, pH of the water is 7.4, this is the typical water quality from the tap, we used Seachem Prime as the water conditioner & followed the instructions.
