thanks for th einput guys. based on your input i think i am just gonna pass on the osmocote idea. I may add fish but not until i have more plants. i am planting in sections to me sure i like my scape. The right side is set now the left side i want a lot more and kind of an opening in the center.

Great plan. Just add fish one species at a time or in small groups. Even the plants need some time to adjust to a new ammonia and CO2 level and the tank can give you a nitrite spike as well.

Keep in mind that plants will look different as they mature, height, width, leaf size etc. I'm finding that what I thought would look good initially has changed. I started out with lots of varieties and still have to decide on placement as things grow.

if you check my aquarium log, the 20 is the one i am setting up now, you can see where it is. Its been up for just over 24 hours at this point.
