Orange / Brown substance on Rocks?

Hey guys.

Im not sure if this is normal but there is a Orange / Brown substance building on the rocks. it seems to be very "thick" like.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

Cheers
Dan

yes it is a form of alge bloom. Take your rocks out. and scrub them with a brush. Then rinse them. I take mine out every 5 days. to scrub. I havnt had it that bad yet. I think it has some thing to do with the nitrates or nitrites. Not 100 percent sure tho.
