OMG is an understatement, My jaw dropped when I saw the pictures!

You will prevail from this, never let a set back ruin what you love. If we won every game, it wouldn't be fun to play.

I'm very impressed that Perfecto stepped up to the plate, and is replacing your tank.

If you need some plants or apple snails to start up in your new tank let me know, I have some I can send you. I'll even throw in one of my "in use" sponge filters to help you restart the cycle process to get you up and running in no time.

I'm sorry that you had such a failure in a tank, but I'm glad to see things are working out for you. Again if you need anything let us know, we are here to help!

Good Luck!
Jeff

Well perfecto is sending me my new tank and stand, should be here today or tommorow. It depends on when the pet store gets its deliveries. As far as reimbursment, I can not find all the receipts for the fish that died, I tossed most of the receipts because most places dont even give you a warrenty on fish. Hindsight is always 50/50 in cases such as these! The apartment complex that I live in has to send Perfecto all the bills for damages. And I asked my Landlord to move me to a bottom floor apartment, She said it might be next month before she has something open up. I will wait to set it back up when I get moved into another place. I am actually working on a 55 gallon vivarium that will hold only about 10 gallons of water. But like the 110 I am not going to set it up entirely until I get moved in.

have you checked online to see if this is a typical problem with Perfecto?

I have bought a couple of their lid/light combos, but it doesn't sound like i'll ever be buying one of their tanks.

The owner of my lfs said she won't buy perfecto tanks for this very reason. She's been doing it for 20 years.
