Not sure if I can fix my Favourite Silver Dollar..Advice needed please
I am currently on day 6 of a 10 day course of Sterazin, as treatment for Gill Flukes. I have definitely seen a vast improvement in the wellbeing of all inhabitants as far as the Gill Flukes go.
That was, until last night when I discovered to my horror that my favourite biggest Silver Dollar has sustained an injury to his mouth. I would more than likely put my money on it being from a piece of rock or driftwood, as this has happened before.
In the past I just added salt and the wound healed very quickly however, this time I am treating with the Sterazin and the bottle states very clearly to not mix it with any other additives.
Do I have any options here? I still have 2 more doses of the Sterazin to go, the final dose being on Saturday. Will my SD risk becoming bacterial (ie infection present) in this time or, will he be ok?
