noisy new filter and considering starting up another tank

Since I have two 55g going, I've been thinking of moving one of my goldfish into the 20g Long I have sitting out in the garage - gees - can you have too many tanks?

Also, with the addition of new tanks all I can think of is filtration filtration filtration - I bought a pretty cheap cascade 300 and added it too my Eheim Ecco 2236 on my goldfish tank. I have another Aqueon 55 to add to my 55g cichlid tank... but boy is the new filter noisy!!!! Its been running for about 30 min and I'm already going out of my mind!

well - I took apart the filter and reset the impeller and now the new filter is quite quiet!! Yay for a mom that taught me girls shouldn't be afraid to tear things apart (not like it was rocket science anyway)

But after reading a few posts here I realize there is still so much I can learn about filtration! Which is great!

Now I just have to set up my 20gL
