Exclamation Noisy Aquarium

I have set up my 8 Gallon aquarium with 6 neon tetra and 7 amino shrimps from 6 months. They are going good so I decided to change it to my bed room. But aquarium Bubbler and Filter are making sound like hell due to that I cannot sleep.

Bubbler is vibrating very much to make bubble. So i wanted to ask is this same with you also. And I have seen some places very silent bubbler what are they. Kindly give me advice on that. Filter is still okay as it is internal and as it remain under water it make sound but tolerable. BTW my filter is throwing air, it is okay.

So suggest me some good filter and bubbler.

Try folding up a towel and putting it under the motor for the airstone. The noise is from it vibrating against a hard surface.

And a lot of them have a button that you can turn the flow up or down with (I didn't realize mine had one of those for months after I had it). If yours has one, turn it down a litte and still use the towel.

i found that if the bubbles get into the filter intake then it will make alot of noise. move the bubbler away from the filter if thats the case. i also found that occasionly the whisper filter will make noise for unknown reasons. to fix this, I clean the filter sponge thing, re-orient the filter the intake.

Yes, I have the one under my big tank sitting on a carpet off-cut, but sometimes it is still noisy. I was googling about it and some people suspend theirs with a rubber band so that there's nothing it can vibrate against.
