Talking No More Cloudiness!!! YAY!!!

As some of you may know, as so many of you were so helpful in trying to help me figure out the reason my tank was so cloudy and often sent me PMs to check on my tank...I had a major issue with extreme cloudiness in my 29 gallon tank.

First treatment was for an algae bloom...that was the first issue, treated it. Tank was less cloudy, but not by much.

Second treatment was for high phosphates, which I had to treat twice a week and I couldnt figure out why the phosphates were getting so high in that tank since my 2nd smaller tank didnt have any issues in it, assuming it was coming from the tap.

Finally discovered the issue for it filter sucked. I was using the Marineland Penguin 150 BioWheel, and it just couldnt keep up. So I researched to find a great HOB filter that I could afford. Well, it was about $13 more than I wanted to spend, but am so glad I got it. I added the AquaClear 50 to the tank, and have kept the BioWheel on the tank as well. The very next morning, my tank was almost crystal clear! So the next day I did an entire tank gravel vac, which ended up giving me a 50% water change, and also cleaned off all the plants (real and fake) in the last bucket of old tank water, and re-aquascaped the tank.

Now, 4 days later, my tank is as clear and as beautiful as the day I set it up, even more so. And thankfully water parameters have not been altered. I am thrilled, and just wanted to thank everyone who helped me through the frustration of the cloudiness.
