Nitrogen Cycling 2 Weeks w/ No Changes
I am brand new to fish keeping, and I have a question. I am currently cycling my 15 gallon tropical fish tank with 3 blue long fin danios (and a ghost shrimp). I introduced the fish into the tank exactly 2 weeks ago. 2 days before I added the fish, I set up the aquarium with the filter, heater, gravel, plants, and a bottle of Tetra SafeStart. I have tested the water conditions every other day since I introduced the fish, and none of the numbers have changed since the first day. They are currently stuck at pH 8.0, ammonia at 0.25, nitrite at 0, and nitrates around 0-2.5 range. Does this mean my tank is cycled? Does it take this long for the ammonia to start rising?
