There is an issue with the liquid in the Nitrate #2 bottle separating. You MUST shake the bottle for a full 2 minutes prior to adding it to the test tube to allow the liquid to mix properly. Then shake the test tube for a minute.
Post #1 was made in a very old thread (from 2008), so I have moved it and the two response posts to a new thread.
I think AD's post (#3) was more in relation to the old thread data... if so, AD can edit as he sees fit.
To the nitrate issue, Tazman is correct. Also, do you have live plants? This can make a difference.
