hello everyone, I have a question that I hope you can help me with. I hope this is the right forum for user introductions and things, I took a look around and noticed a few threads moved to this area of the board.
I don't actually have an aquarium of my own, but last winter I purchased a freshwater fish for a friend of mine. this fish has proven to be a little mysterious. I noticed at the store that there were no other fish that looked remotely like it, and although the fish it was being kept with were labeled, it was not. it is clearly an albino something, but even color notwithstanding it physically resembled nothing else in the store. (admittedly the selection was not that big so I didn't have that much to compare to.) I didn't think much of it at the time, but now I find myself curious and thinking that someday if I have fish of my own I'd want a similar one.
this post is getting a lot more long-winded than I expected... I'll just post a picture, and let you have at it. If it turns out to be totally obvious, I'm sorry for wasting your time... I am honestly stumped as to what it could be. if anyone needs details on its habits, or anything of the sort, feel free to ask me. sorry about the lack of an actual photograph, it is extremely shiny, in fact slightly reflective, and the pictures i've tried to take turn out to be of a big blurry flash. hopefully my artistic skills will suffice!
the colors didn't scan well, but it being an albino that probably doesn't make much difference. if anyone's curious, it is a strange yellow-y custard color, with red-orange fins.
if the image doesn't show up it can be found here: http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c4...pants/fish.jpg
