Did a temporary fix. Drained 20 gallons of water and the gap closed. Got some Loctite Super Gue 2, for plastics. Glued the pieces together and held it together with a large clamp for about a half hour. Also broke off two little pieces off plastic from the hoods and glued them over the joining areas. Filled the tank back up before taking off the clamp. So far it's holding.
Still looking for a top trim piece.

55 Gallon
Striped Angelfish (2)
Marble Angelfish (1)
5 Cory Cats
4 Tetras
1 Barb
1 Algae Eater
