Thankyou for all the replies :) I've seen cory's and they are cute but I don't think I have the room for fish that like to live in groups, though I'll look into the dwarf ones. And a big no to the snails from me :P They are lovely but I've heard too many horror stories about them such as destroying and taking over tanks because they don't need a partner to have babies!

Apple snails need a male and female snail in order to have babies, so if you only get one snail there won't be any babies.

+1 with tanker. It takes two to tango with apple/mystery snails
