hi there just joined today as I am needed some help I have a 240 litre tank with 6 lemon tetra, 7 noen tetra, 2 rainbow shark, 2 clown loach, 4 harliquens, and 3 male guppies they are all fine and healthy looking. so onto my problem when I started I was doing twice weekly water changes of 40litres which kept the ph at 7.6, ammonia at 0ppm, nitrite at 0ppm, and nitrate at 10ppm then I started to get ammonia in the tank over the last two weeks I have had four dead fish, ammonia today is at 0.50ppm, ph 7.6, nitrite 0ppm, and nitrate 0ppm. The pet shop said to do 25% water changes every day for a week which I have done and then to do weekly changes of 25% and not to touch the filter for a month to let the bacteria build up, I also use nurafin cycle and nurafin aqua plus. I have checked my feeding which I do once a day and miss out a sunday the fish eat everything within recommended two mins so there is no waste. Is this normal and is my tank still cycling, any advice appreciated.
