New to the site

Hi, I'm new to this site, and fairly new to keeping fish. I have a 180l tank which was cycled for a month and tested before adding fish 3 weeks ago, I added 2 rainbow sharks and 4 mollies in week one, 4 clown loach in week 2 and 3 Bala sharks in week 3 (5 days ago)

Since then last night I noticed one of the mollies has had 8 babies, and one of the rainbows has left its cave and started swimming vertically at the top of the tank, I'm worried about this rainbow, is this normal?

I've tested the water levels religiously and nothing has changed to spark this change in behaviour

Any suggestions?

Hello and Welcome to the Forum!!!! 180L... That's a 39 imperial gallon isn't it? USA... of 47.5. You are going to have some mighty big fish in that tank at some point... any plans to upgrade?
I kept Balas in a 90 gallon (5 foot long) and it was way too small for them. You really have an odd mix that is going to be troublesome I think.

I concur with SeaHorse. The Balas, Clown Loaches and Rainbow Sharks are going to have to go eventually. The Mollies need a totally different type of environment than those listed above. Something is wrong with your rainbow shark, what I don't know.
