New Set up
So i have an extra 10 gallon with filter lights rocks and some decore. But i wanna try some new fish in this tank, different than what i have had. But i dont know what would be best in such a small tank other thank mollys platys and guppies. Any ideas?
There are lots of options with a 10g, provided you stay with fairly small fish. Depends upon water parameters--many of these beauties are wild caught and this is more critical. Soft water fish like the dwarf rasbora species in Boraras (Mosquito Rasbora, etc), Scarlet Badis, a few gourami species like the Sparkling Gourami, Licorice Gourami; Ember Tetra, dwarf cory, pygmy cory, salt and pepper cory. Fore medium hard water (livebearer type) there are Endlers Livebearer, Celestial Pearl Danio, Emerald Dwarf Rasbora, and possibly some of the others already mentions if not too hard water. A whiptail catfish would work in a 10g. Shaded names can be clicked for the profile with photos.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If youíre going to take it under your wing then youíre responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

and I have yet to find Celestial Pearl Danio and Emerald Dwarf Rasbora. I have had/ still have zebra/lepoard danios, glow zebra/lepoard danios, and 1 blue lepoard danio. I do the the Danios i must say :) but i have never seen the Celestial Pearl Danio and Emerald Dwarf Rasbora in the pet stores by me and i keep an eye out for them, and im not willing to buy offline just cause i dont have the money for that haha
