new guy with ?

ive been keeping a few frontosa for a little while now im still new to fish keeping and slowly learning

i currently have 5 frontosa 2 are mepimbwe blue and im not sure of the other 3, is it okay to mix different varients of these or should you stick with one type

im currently feeding them omega 1 frozen bloodworms, mysis shrip, brine shrimp

currently they are housed in a 55g but i have a 125g that will be running shortly

i would like to make the tank into a close replica of the natural habitat, substituting live plants for plastic, not quite ready for that yet

for filtration i have a rena xp2, i was planning on an xp4 for the 125

here is a pic of the fish for reference, i also need practice on my photo taking skills haha

any input would be great or links to good sites

Those are gorgeous fish! I don't know the cichlids too well but I know to keep the cichlids from the 2 lakes separate since they require different water conditions. There's some really knowledgable people on here that can help and I'm sure identify you fish for you. Lets see some pics of the whole tank when you get the chance. I would have loved to so my 55g with Africans but I didn't think I could do it justice in a 55g for the long term. The 125 should be beautiful once up and running. That's a great size tank for an African Cichlid tank.
