i just got 3 guppies (2 preg females and a male) the females are always in the top 1/5 of my 10g tank. i put them in lastnight and are still up there, only the male goes down for short periods of time. i've heard not enough oxygen suggested but i have 4 different things making bubbles (bubbling skull, bubbling stone, and 2 gravel filters. i also have a hanging filter which would make oxygen.) i also have plenty of cover and whatnot. what's up w/ them? just fear or bigger prob?
my tank has only been running for maybe 48 hours with fish in for 24 and it's already very cloudy. i saw that somebody else asked the question and people suggested too much food but i've only fed them once. any suggestions?

The bubbles generated by air diffusers induce very, very little oxygen into your water.
Oxygen is induced into your water at the water's surface.
If turbulence of the water surface is generated by the air diffusers then the rate of oxygen induction into the water is increased.

Unless you filter has an open water surface (or less likely sufficient turbulence to disrupt air bubble in your filter) then little or no oxygenation of the water is occurring in your filter.
I unfortunately do not know your definition of "cover and whatnot".

When I attempted to keep show guppies they would typically stay near the surface for several days.
Having said that if you have not tested the water for ammonia, nitrites, Ph and Gh I recommend that you do so and post the results.
Without this information the members of the forum will not be able to ascertain if you have a "bigger prob".

If I had to venture a WAG concerning this issue it would be that your gravel filters are causing fine particulate matter to be released from the surface of the gravel and thereby causing the cloudiness.
Two additional items:
This post is prepared assuming that you
used dechlorinator in the tap water before putting the guppies in the tank and that you washed the gravel before placing it in the tank.
