I'd use the root tabs approx. every six weeks (breaking the tab in quarters, using 1/4 tab under each plant) and I'd dose with Flourish once a week, being very careful not to overdose as you have a small tank. In my smaller tanks I use 2 drops per gallon of Flourish.
What type of lighting do you have on this tank?
Your betta's gonna be one happy camper in this tank!
I have 1 flourish tab per plant right now in the tank. The lighting is 10k 11w PC and it's pretty bright for such a small bulb but I think it's because the canopy has dual reflectors.
The only thing I am seeing that I am not liking is the flow in the tank with the Tetra Whisper because the water is still pretty cloudy right now. I thought about using an aquaclear HOB filter but the way the hood is designed it does not allow for an HOB filter so I have to use an in-tank. Anyone know of another in-tank filter that allows you to put your own filter media like chemi-pure?
