Let me ensure I am understanding correctly--this is today after the tank has been running for two weeks?

The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. [unknown source]

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If youíre going to take it under your wing then youíre responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

Hehe nooo after waitting about 2 weeks i finaly had the time to move it in today to start the cycle :) Cleaned the sand as best i could but it still kicked up lol but hope after a day or so my canister will clean most of it. One question though, how often should i be cleaning the canister while ti clears this 1 time a day? or more? less? im also useing a DIY spray bar i made. Wil post a video up sometime today/night

Also forgot to add i put in Prime alng with some of my community tank water and cleaned out the community tank filters into that 60g

Once your waters clear rinse the canister, other then that let it be and when your up and running you very rarely need to clean them unless your tank is over stocked

That would make sense. Haven't you heard? We make yogurt, not sense.

My aunt and uncle brought back a box with about 100lbs of sand from a beach on lake superior, left my water crystal clear the moment I put it in my nano tank so I'm glad I wont be dealing with sand dust in my next tank xD you also have the option of letting the sand "settle" instead of filtering, it will clear up faster with the filters off but when you move anything the dust will be back. Dunno if anyone mentioned it but large water changes can speed it up as well

That would make sense. Haven't you heard? We make yogurt, not sense.
