Just got a 30 gal, a penguin 125 and a penguin 175 off Craig's List. So far no leaks. I am planning on putting tetras, cory's, rainbow's in here. Any suggestions as to how many of each school? It will be planted, as well.
id do 15 glowlights, though you could probably do more, 6 or 8 cories, aaaaaand 2-4 rainbows, im not sure about the rainbows how they behave in groups and the ideal numbers... but i think im doing exactly the same only with 2 gourami instead of rainbows. its nice and balanced imho
I am working on my 28g now. I wouldn't say heavily planted more like medium-ly
I am starting with 8 glowlight tetras, and 4 leopard corys (trilienatus, err however you spell it). They are happily enjoying their new environs as we speak.
Hope to add a few more corys (or maybe a kuhlii loach or two) and few more tetra, and really would like the main celebrity to be a dwarf gourami (and 2 consorts)
But I think I may be pushing my limits at that point. We'll see.
Oh, and sorry, I didn't mean to derail or anything, just saying what I got going since I just finished my cycling recently and this is direction I am going
04x Boesemani Rainbow
10x Red Phantom Tetra
10x Glowlight Tetra
10x Panda Cory
I will also throw my 5 Danios in there. They are so lonely .
Oh, and a Red Tail Barracuda (jk).
What do you think?
