New 10 gallon! yay!

I went today and bought a 10 gallon starter kit! it has a heater, filter, thermometer, hood with lights, and the tank of course. I got some nice silk plants and a little "sunken treasure" hidey hole for my betta! I also got him some freeze dried bloodworms to mix in his diet but once it's done cycling, Fernando gets a new huge home! Spoiled rotten fishy!

Always nice to hear about a betta getting a good sized home.

Good for you! I'm sure Fernando will love his new home and all the good stuff you got to put in it. Be sure to rehydrate the bloodworms before feeding them to him.I bet he'll love them. Oh, yes, he's a spoiled rotten fishy. lol So are mine! hahaa

So far it looks good, i've tested each day and all the readings are staying very low, and the temperature is staying at around 78-82 mostly about 80, it only gets higher/lower right after the room's heater switches on or off. (i would keep it off all the time but my roommate gets cold then hot then cold so she messes with it all the time)

80 is a good temperature. Roommates can be irritating sometimes. lol

Indeed, ha. I really want this cycle to finish, but alas, three more weeks >.< Fernando keeps staring out of his little tank at the big one and then i swear he gives me a dirty look like "hey, why am I not in that?" XD

But really the ammonia's dropping back down pretty well so I don't think it will take too long!
