Nerite snail eggs or goldfish eggs?

Here's a weird question - more for curiosity sake

I have a 55g goldfish tank with a black moor and 2 small gold fantails. I have recently had issues with this tank and lost a few fish and narrowed it down to a bacteria infection...

I have these small white eggs all over the tank - I assumed they were from the nerite snails and since goldfish eat them, I just thought I leave them. I have been waiting and waiting for them to hatch - and no luck, so I "googled" and found out that nerites lay eggs that don't hatch due to water conditions.

My moor is the only goldfish big enough to lay eggs. Since goldfish are hard to sex unless the conditions are right, and then you can only really identify the males - I am wondering if it may have laid the eggs...

so how do I know if they are snail eggs or goldfish eggs?

either way I 'm cleaning them out because they will just sit there an decay and destroy my water quality that is just starting to recover anyway, so this is more of a curiosity question... if anyone knows.

Sorry no pics but they would likely not turn out well enough to see anyway.

well, I think nerite dont reproduce in freshwater, but that does not mean that they dont lay non developing eggs. My bet would be that they are from the gold fish, even though they snack on them as many fish will eat their own brood.

if they are tiny sesame sized eggs stuck to surfaces of the glass, plants, and other decor, they are nerite snail eggs. Goldfish lay bigger eggs than sesame size
