Neon Tetra Agressive Behavior

re:

I have six Neon Tetras. (I didn't really want them (even more since I learned they shouldn't be with Angels), but Abbey really did~). They seemed fine when they were in the 10g tank, but sometime after moving them into the 60g tank, they all seem very aggressive, chasing each other all around much of the time. At first I thought they were being playful, but further reading convinces me that it's aggression that increased numbers may resolve (although from what I read, six should be okay). I don't really want any more, but I think this behavior is negatively affecting the other fish in the tank.

Thoughts?

My own observations have shown that fishes such as tetras and barbs often display the behaivor described in groups of less than a dozen.
Perhaps explaining to Abby that the Angelfish will likely eat the tetra's as they (Angelfish) become larger would appeal to her senses?
Angelfish I have cared for appreciated a bit warmer water than the neons enjoy.
Have found that neon's seem to live longer at lower temps 72 to 75 degrees F and Angelfish I have kept did very well at 80 degrees F ,certainly no lower than 78 degrees to achieve good growth rate.

Well, it's an experiment, but I fed them (and mushed the flakes to neon sized pieces) then turned off one of the two tank lights. The Neons seem to have calmed down and for the most part, are swimming together without charging each other. But not convinced yet.
It's interesting that they didn't act at all like this in the 10g. go figure.

My vision was a community tank with live bearers and a couple of Angel fish. Until coming here, I didn't realize that when they grow larger, Angel fish see Neons as food. Abbey quite liked the Neons, so we got a few, 3 at first. Then got 3 more after learning they do best with at least 6.
I didn't realize that Angel fish need a group of at least 5, which is more than I had in mind anyway. But then again, my vision didn't really include the red wag platys and the 20 some fry! that now live in the 10g. I think
I need to have my vision checked.
