Exclamation Need help selecting new tank

Hey guys,

I am looking to purchase a new tank and im looking for something really clean cut kind of retro looking? I guess you could say. I want to keep it under 25 gallons and am only keeping small fish and shrimp in the tank. I also want something that I could possibly run a nano SW tank on later down the road. Budget I would say right now is $200 maybe a little more. Ones I have been looking at are the bio-cubes and the fluval edge glass tanks. Though they may be too small for what im looking to do. I want to keep it professional looking im tired of seeing wire after wire after wire.... just something clean cut I can leave on display. I am a veteran to this hobby so shoot me some idea's start-ups and that jazz wont be a problem just looking for suggestions on tanks.

Other perks I would need

Can support live plants

possible conversion to salt water nano down the road.

Any help or suggestions would be great!

Your idea reminded me of both the biocubes and the Fluvial Edge. It seems like you're on the right track. There's also the BioOrb if you haven't seen those. They get as large as a 16g.

It seems like those are your best bet, though you might could get a custom made tank. I'd think something that was a perfect cube would fit the look and perhaps let you go a bit larger.

If it helps, my LFS has a Biocube set up as a nano saltwater tank. So it is possible. It's got a pair of clowns and a bunch of anemonies and things I can't ID cause I don't do saltwater tanks.
