A random thing to add, but is that a real seashell? If so, you might want to test the pH of your tap vs tank and make sure that it's not causing a spike as the calcium is released into the water.

Hmm that's a good question. I think it's real, it seems real, lol.
I can't test my ph now but last time I did the shell was in it and it was between 6.5 and 7.0

Well, I had one in a small tank and after being in there a week, my water peremiters were insain! My pH was beyond my testing range. Some tanks they are fine in and some they aren't. It depends on the water chemistry you start with. I hope all is well
