Just came across this thread, but other members have correctly advised you so all I need say is welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum. But please, read the linked article on cycling. There is no doubt in my mind that the fish all died of ammonia poisoning, or if they got through that stage the nitrite would finish them.
And please research a fish before buying it. We have profiles here, second tab from the left in the bluee bar across the top of the page, with most of the commonly-seen fish included. There is information on water parameters, compatibility, how many of the species you need (some are shoaling fish and need to be in groups, etc), and other issues. Knowing all about the fish before acquiring it will save you money, prevent fish losses, and result in a true community aquarium of healthy fish that will reward you and not frustrate you.
