Unhappy " My tropical fish died"

I have a new 20 gallon aquarium which I set up and let it sit for 3 days, after doing this, I put in my fish that I had in a smaller aquarium, and I put some of their water into the new one. The fish I put in the 20 Gallon aquarium was 5 guppies, 3 swordtail's and 2 neon tetra's which I waited until later on in the afternoon to add. The next day, when I came out to feed em, they were all dead.. What did I do wrong...

Welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping!
Heh, I think you posted in the wrong section but a moderator should move this to the right section.

Sadly, you made a mistake MANY of us made when we started. Pet stores are no help, and they generally know nothing about taking care of fish.
Your fish died due to being in an uncycled tank. The nitrogen cycle must be completed before adding so many fish, it's really a chunk of info so I suggest you read this sticky, and then if you have anymore questions we'll be happy to answer.
