How would you like it if your folks suddenly moved another 6 kids into your room with you? Your fish won't be happy if you shove too many in your tank. In the same way that your room might fit 7 or 8 kids on bunk beds and sleeping on the floor, the kids won't be as happy as if they had their own room, or were sharing with only another kid or 2. Unless you give away most of the fish you've got in there now, you just don't have room to get any cories.

(Of course, the fish also have to swim in their own poo and that of all of the other fish in the tank. You get a lot more poo with a lot more fish. Apart from being crowded, they've got worse water to swim in unless you are going to change the water ever day to remove all the poo.)

I'd keep the platies (OR the mollies OR the guppies) and the neon tetras....

Im going to try and get another tank.... And put my pregnant platys and fry in that..
I can get rid of 2 mollys as they add 10% stocking to my tank.. And the corys added
So with all the fish minus some mollys and platys and with some corys added it will give me a stocking level of 120%..

I like my corys. My answer would always be .....get another, or bigger tank if possible, but if that is not an option ....donate to your friend and get what you want
