My spotted raphaels!

Hey guys, so other than having some filter problems *my canister filter isn't working atm* here's my re-done 26 gallon with my 3 spotted raphael catfish! I do have a sponge filter that's been matured in my other tank, but I'm hoping to get the canister filter fixed by tomorrow.

This is feeding time after they got adjusted to their new home a few days later

I would ust suggest a black background (regular construction paper works fine) and floating plants, both to calm the catfish. These are nocturnal/dim light fish and will be much more settled with less overhead light. Nice chunk of wood and plants.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]

Thanks! Yea, I'm working on the floating plants to get back into stock. I'm planning on painting it black sometime in the future, so I'll drain the tank half way, move the stand out enough to get in the back, and get started. I was looking at water lettuce or sprite, depending on what my local nurseries carry.
