My fish are prettier then your fish

Ever think that when looking at your fish? Ever notice once you bring your fish home and let him/her grow up in your tank that they grow into a most beautiful fish? Yeah, I know it is love or affection or something. I just look at my fish and think "they are much prettier then any other fish like them"

My Opaline Gourami is definitely prettier then any that I have ever seen in a store anywhere and the same goes for my Rainbow Shark. Maybe it is knowing their personalities that makes them prettier to me. I think the same of my dogs and my cat too. ha ha How did I get so blessed to get all the most beautiful pets? ha ha

Ha Ha Ha Yes, I AM that parent. I know I would look silly if I posted pictures of some of my fish. I picked them out especially because there was something wrong with them. Like My beautiful black Angel with the gimp fin. I did pick the most vibrant Opaline Gourami and the same for the Rainbow shark. I see so many of those and I think Mine have prettier colors. I took the slightly OFF Cories too, I mean, who would want those? lol

In the case of my Angel, a fin only a mother could love. ha ha I have a Cory who is sort of bent in the middle. He/she seems to get along just fine but at the fish store, she wasn't doing well so I took her. Now, she zips around the tank all happy looking she just lays on the bottom in a weird position from time to time. She eats, swims, is social, what more could I ask for. She certainly doesn't seem to be suffering at all so... she is PERFECT. ha ha

I had to post a picture of gimpy fin. When I first got him/her she/he was a wee little fish and I was fully aware of the gimp fin. I wasn't sure if he or she would live or if that fin would be the end of him/her but... Now, big and beautiful and healthy this fish shows that even special needs fish can be perfect. I wonder what happened to her/his little fin? I call this fish "Nemo" or "Black" neither of which is very original but both fit so...

If only I could take better pictures, you would see how pretty he/she is from the other side.

Pretty girl, "Blue"

Here is "Bentley" the Albino Cory with the odd bend in her middle. Isn't she precious?
