My 5g tank (picture heavy)

So here's the tank I've talked about in previous threads. Just got done rearranging everything tonight and am pretty happy with the way it turned out. Although I'm sure something will change haha. Anyway here's the specifics.

5g tank with beta, african dwarf frog, two ghost shrimp and two mystery snails. Filtered and heated kept at 80F.

Lighting is a 10w CFL 6500K on for 4-6 hours a day. When the light is not on the window above the tank is open.

Plants are Pygmy Chainsword (planted and floating for now), Anubius nana narrow-leaf, Anubius barteri narrow-leaf (floating), water sprite (floating), java moss, marimo ball, Crypt parva, and foxtail.

All the plants are relatively new. Some today, some yesterday and some earlier this week. Pretty anxious for the crypt parva to spread some since there's a little gap right now between them. Also not sure how the sword will do depending on size and how much that spreads I'll just have to watch it.

If anyone has comments, suggestions, or concerns please say them because I'd rather not be doing something wrong. I've done my research though and think I've done a pretty good job.

Sooooo finally the good stuff.... the pictures. Sorry they're blurry I don't have the steadiest hand haha.

It looks really nice. My only suggestion is to add a background. I like plain black ones, but thats up to you .It will really make everything in the tank pop out more. And hide your filter.

Also, it looks like part of the left side of the tank is hanging off the side of the stand. I'm not sure if that's good for the bottom of the tank. But I'm no expert either.

Once again nice tank. Can't wait to see it when the plants grow

I thought about a backdrop but with the light of the window I want to make sure it gets in which is why I didn't add one. And you're right about it hanging off but it's not very much (less than an inch) and I don't really have anything else to put it on.

Nice aquascape, the plants will fill in as they settle.

On the stand, that is a concern over time; simple solution is to get a piece of 3/4-inch thick plywood that is just larger than the tank base, 1/2 inch all around is sufficient, though I usually like 1 inch. This will easily take the weight and any uneveness of the 5g tank. The tank will settle into the relatively soft wood. At the next water change, drain out most of the water down to a couple inches (enough for the fish) and with help slide the plywood under the tank. I've done this on 20g tanks with no problems, and even a 29g.
