My 40B Amazon biotope

So this is the tank I've been working on the past few weeks and creating threads about. I'm not 100% sure I like the layout I might move some of the plants around more and take out the piece of driftwood in the center. I was trying to get a real natural look and think I achieved it but it seems a little too busy. Any suggestions or comments are really appreciated.

Substrate: Caribsea Super Naturals black sand

Fish:
5x Platinum Pearlscale Angelfish
14x Emperor Tetra
2x Bolivian Ram (M/F pair)
2x Spadetailed Checkerboard Cichlid (M/F pair)
6x Julii Cory (believe they're the false Julii though)
5x Black Widow Tetra (Left over from the 10g I tore down and didn't have the heart to give away)
1x Male Swordtail (same as above)

Plants:
3x Amazon Sword
2x Ruffled Amazon Sword
1x Rose Sword
1x Red Melon Sword
2x Red Melon Pinwheel Sword (new species recently made by Florida aquatics thought I'd give it a try)
6x Wide Leaf Sag
Lots of Pygmy Chain Sword
Lots of Microsword
Few stems of Green Cabomba
3 Anubias nana and one bateri
Water Sprite, Hornwort, and Brazilian Pennywort all floating
And 2 moss balls I'm not sure what to do with

Nice work, very nice. Well done. Floating plants will finish it. Those angels need cover.

Byron.

Thanks Byron glad you like it. I do have some floating plants (notice the blob in the top left corner haha). I'm having trouble though with the powerhead I have. Started a thread about it here.

There are some good suggestions from members in that thread. Main point is, you want as minimal a current as possible, for the fish primarily, but it will also benefit the plants nutrient-wise.
