An excellent floating plant with any gourami is Water Sprite. Click the name for the profile with photos.

I know you did say you already got a filter, but if you don't like that one I can say that 1) sponge filters are great for internal filters.. and really cheap too. I love mine. but 2) if you want an HOB the aqueon quiet flow series is, in my opinion, the way to go. I had mine in the tank but decided to go with a sponge filter instead just because I was going to have angels and I wanted the least amount of current in the tank possible. I still have my filter that was only used for a month, maybe two, if you would like to buy it. I'd be willing to let it go, because it's been doing absolutely nothing sitting around my house.

It sounded like a trickle of a waterfall, but the filter itself was silent, which was the key thing for me. It just sounded like a small decorative water fountain..

I already opened and have the fluval U2 in my 75 getting seeded or whatever, thank you for the offer though.

How long should I let it seed for? I'd like to get it all set up as soon as possible cause this places stock changes pretty quickly.

That water sprite is nice too, you guys are gonna get me hooked on floating plants.

So I went back to the place like a week ago and saw they had very few left, so I bought all 15 they had left....
The 20 I was setting up wasnt ready yet so I put them all in my 75 and they are amazing hiders. After they did a little exploring I couldnt find a single one.

Now a couple of them are usually up in front but most stay hidden in the half of the tank that is almost completely taken over by a couple overgrown plants. I was gonna take some out but no its home to most of these and the coolie loaches and a few glowlights so I leave it. Its starts about a foot from the left in the back and all went right, I planted like 3 maybe 8" pieces behind a rock and in a week it hit the top of the water then just went insane.
