Multiple Tank Syndrome has struck =D

Stumbled upon this beautiful boy on AquaBid last night (I had been interested in starting up a planted 5 gallon betta tank for a a month or so now). Bought him this morning. Has to be the most beautiful betta I have ever laid my eyes on. (All a matter of opinion of course).

Still currently working on my 55 gallon, which is doing wonderfully, still have 4 little rasbora fry in the QT tank. Getting big actually. Waiting on adding my second group of fish into QT for the 55. Can't think of a better side project than this =D.

Will post pics of the tanks progress.

Just had to share!!

Thumbs up

I spot little white worms on the glass. Look just like the parasites in my guppy tank. Besides that, He looks beautiful!!!

The seller on AquaBid has excellent reviews so I'm not too concerned. He'll be in his tank solo so there's no risk harming any other fish. I'll keep a close eye on him of course =)

Nice!

Jeff.

Total years fish keeping experience: 7 months, can't start counting in years for a while yet.

The shotgun approach to a planted tank with an LED fixture

Small scale nitrogen cycle with a jar, water and fish food; no substrate, filter etc

I think it's just scratches on the glass.

He's a stunner. Congrats!

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Just thought I would put up a pic of the tank I threw together for the little beauty.

Just scrambled some plants together from my big tanks. Still waiting on my preferred plants to come in. Quite happy with it actually =D
