Molly Fry and Pregnant Molly

Hello,

I've just finished cycling my new 55 gallon tank. After cycling the water was fairly hard and basic so I decided to go with livebearers to stock the tank. My first purchase to start stocking the tank was a pair of female mollies. Little did I know that both of the females were pregnant at the time. This was around 3 weeks ago and both of them gave birth to their fry. Most of the fry have survived to this point and are growing well. Today however I noticed that one of the mollies is pregnant again!! Now I know that they are able to become pregnant up to 6 months after a single encounter with a male so I'm hoping the other Molly doesn't become pregnant again as well. Anyway I just have a few questions for the more experienced breeders out there:

1. At what age is it suitable to get rid of the Molly fry? There are a few LFS' in the area and I think I'm going to ask around and see if I might be able to sell any of them at a discounted rate. I already have around 25-30 fry in the tank and if the pregnant molly gives birth soon the tank is going to be WAY to crowded. How long should I wait until it is safe for the fry to be taken out of the tank? They were born about 2 and a half to 3 weeks ago.

2. Have any of you ever had any success selling fish to an LFS that you have bred? I know it's going to be on a store to store basis about their policy but if someone has experience in the business any advice would be appreciated.

I'm glad to have my tank cycled and set up after a month but now it's on to the next problem! Thanks for any help guys!
