Mixing Sand

How do you guys think it would look if I mixed regular natural sand with black sand? I want to darken the sand a tiny bit but don't want to switch it all out.

I think it would look good. Make some test mixes and see which you like best....

Great idea! Beats doing a full substrate change

Gee, if there was an in between brown, that would be great. Kind of hard imagining the black mix for me. Freshcatch's suggestion of making some test batches is a good idea. Know what you mean about trying to darken the sand.

There probably will be a darker brown sand, but I'm not sure how much of an effect it'll have.

Well, if you want to make things just a tad darker, a brown hue would look more natural. I just think that the black might look like pepper.

The mix of sand IMO would look cool. I would think it would look a bit more like natural sand with all the different colors of sand/small rocks mixed together. granted it could be darker or lighter than natural sand. If you do it post some pics! :D
