I have been offered a Marineland 350 Magnum canister filter for $30.00, its 2nd hand but in full working order. Does this seem a good price ?

Is it the filter showing in the link below? If so, they are 129.99 new from That Fish Place. If it's in full working order I'd say $30 is a good deal.

Yep, he said it was the "Pro" and that it comes with the bio wheel kit. He has only just taken his tank apart so the bio wheels have been out of water for a couple of days. Will i still be able to use them ?

yeah thats a great deal! The bio wheels that the filter uses are some of the best biological filtration you can get.

If the biowheels have gone dry the biofilter on them no longer exists. Will you be adding this filter to an already established tank??

Ok so i have the filter setup and WOW i am shocked to see how fast the water flow is !
I am happy with it . . . . but how the heck do you guys keep the intake/outake pipes that hangover the tank straight ? Mine just tilt to one side and it looks a mess.

And also it didnt come with a filter cartridge that goes inside the net tubing, nore did it come with a sleeve that goes around the net tubing. Is it ok to put some panties around the net and then to put some bio balls and filter floss stuffed inside the net ?
