LUPIN! I'm crossing over to the dark side!!

I want that goldfish I saw in my lfs! He is so cute! So I have been reading for the past hour on fancy goldfish.

I went to this site Goldfish Connection, but all their pictures in the for sale section are not working. They are all blue little question marks. I need a site where I can see all the types and their names ~ I am dying to show you the one I am getting!

I am going to get a 10gal tank ~ can I get a tall one? Or an odd shape one? A filter and a heater. I also read that to hit them with Prazi when you get them and to feed this particular food which I now have forgotten the name ~ darn it. But it is medicated and feed that for a month, I think it said!

So ~ talk to me! I want to put this tank right here on my desk. If you go Pets Mart site you can see the tall 10 gal tank I want or there is a round one too.

isn't 10 gallons way too small for a goldfish?

Not for just one. Ten gallons per goldfish.

But that 10g rule applies to large tanks where you keep more than one goldfish. A 20g would be bare minimum for one. LOL!

Goldfish prefer more surface area. Tall tanks aren't one of them. And since they're prone to flukes, then, yes, you need to prazi them. Here's the dosing schedule.
http://thegab.org/Goldfish/quarantin...-goldfish.html

Use only prazi, no salt. Prazipro is available online.

What? Seriously? Fine. Can I put two in the 20? Will they fight? I'm still reading about them.
