Lowering Nitrite???

What are some sure fire ways to lower Nitrite fast without interfering with the bio-filter?
I used nitromax to boost the bacterial growth and the levels went down...so i added half the fish to the tank and the nitrite and ammonia is up a bit...i want to add the rest of the fish today or tomorrow...

I have PRIME and i used that to de-tox the Nitrite and nitrate...Nitrite is 1ppm, ammonia is about .75ppm and Nitrate is around 40ppm.

What should I do?

A water change.

Please, for the sake of your fish, don't add them until your tank is cycled. This will also save you tons of stress, money and annoyance. I know it's hard to resist but you'll be happy you waited.
This is solid advice. I would just like to add, have patience adding the fish after the cycling is complete. It takes a long time to build up a good bio filter and even though a tank is cycled, adding new fish will introduce new ammonia and subsequent nitrite spikes. With your ammonia still being at .75 ppm, you're near lethal levels for a lot of fish.

I agree. A partial water change is all it will take. At one point I was changing some water out every day until the tank cycled, but it was worth it in the end. I didn't lose one fish.

It sounds like you've added too many fish before the cycle was complete. Just keep on top of it. If you haven't already, you may want to invest in a liquid testing kit.
