Low Ph

The ph in my tank is low and keeps dropping. The tap water that I use isn't low, it's around 6.8. I do keep small amounts of salt in my tank since my guppies and swords like it. How does that reduce the ph? Is that what's reducing the ph? All of my other parameters are right where they should be.

What types of decorations do you have in the tank?
Do you add any chemicals?

Some solutions could be adding crushed coral in the filter and limestone rock as a decoration.
