Looking for stocking ideas for 55 gallon aquarium

I am looking to stock a 4 ft 55 gallon aquarium. Here is a list of fish that I currently keep or have kept. I am looking for fish ideas that are NOT on this list:

Black Skirt Tetras
Congo Tetras
Chinese Algae Eater
Banded Leporinus
Blood Red Parrot
Siamese Algae Eater
Tinfoil Barb
Bala Sharks
Clown Loaches
Silver Dollars
Hillstream Loach
African Dwarf Frog
Serpae Tetras
Leopard Bush Fish
Pearl Gourami
Bleeding Heart Tetras
Chocolate Talking Catfish
Banjo Catfish
Spotted Raphael Catfish
Paradise Fish
Moonlight Gourami
Bristlenose Pleco
Pea Puffers
Amazon Puffers
Red Tailed Shark
Emperor Tetras
Zebra Danios
Zebra Loaches
Apple Snail
Neon Tetras
Harlequin Rasboras
Nerite Snail
Ryukin Goldfish

So I'm looking for something new. And not Angelfish. Any suggestions appreciated.

Go for broke and set up a discus tank.
They're said to be challenging and rewarding in equal measure.

You want at least a 75 gallon for discus, that's at a minimum.

How about Apistogramma Dwarf Cichlids?

Triple Red Cacatuoides and Panduro are species that I currently keep and aside from being wonderfully colorful they are quite interesting little cichlids.

How about Dennison Barb's - a school of those in a 55 would be awesome!

Rummy Nose Tetra's a nice school of 10-12?

White Clouds for the upper levels?

Archer fish are definitely different, I saw one on our club forum for sale recently and the guy had photos of the fish in his aquarium spitting at prey.

I also see that you haven't kept Killifish, very colorful and neat fish.

You've kept a lot of fish with great variety and that is SUPER!, but there are lot's of great fish you still need to keep

Have fun and be PATIENT!
