Hey John. Ok. Cool. So pretty much just stick to cycling my tank and I'll be good to go. So once my fish are gone. How often should I do the water changes?? Now im doing everyday for fishes health. But when their gone whats the best way to do it so it cycles better or quicker
You're going to need to add a source of ammonia to cycle your tank. Either pure liquid ammonia or fish food. Liquid ammonia is much easier to achieve the desired amount which is 3-4ppm. You won't do any water changes until your tank processes 3-4ppm of ammonia in 24 hours, then you will do a WC to bring nitrates down, redosing the ammonia back to 3-4ppm to double check. You can then begin stocking your tank. Posted via Mobile Device
